A Time to Reflect and Thank You!

As 2014 comes to a close it's hard not to reflect on all of the wonderful people we've had the fortune to work with this year.

We are thankful for all of you who volunteered at a CSWCD event - from stream cleanups, to riparian and rain garden plantings - we appreciate all of your help restoring our local watersheds.

We are thankful for all of you who attended one of our education programs and changed a behavior around your household to improve our soil and water quality. A change as small as reducing your fertilizer use by one time a year can cumulatively make a big difference.

We are thankful for those of you who reached out for technical assistance with an erosion issue or a storm water concern. Providing technical assistance and advice about our ever changing complex urban landscape is our specialty.

Lastly, we are thankful for those who were able to donate to our partner watershed groups - Friends of Euclid Creek and the Rocky River Watershed Council. Euclid Creek has been focused for the past few years on building a conservation fund to allow us to protect more sensitive land in the watershed, and Rocky River has been engaging residents to become involved in Stream Teams and riparian reforestation to name a few efforts.

We hope to see you all in the New Year and appreciate your continued support.
