Jacki is a long-time environmental activist and volunteer. She served as the Vice President of Friends of the Crooked River – a grassroots watershed group that advocates for fishable, swimmable rivers. Their most recent project was the dam removal in Brecksville. She is committed to teaching people of all ages how to care for the world we share. Jacki holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biology, with a graduate certificate in environmental studies, from the University of Akron. She began her SWCD career at Washington County SWCD as a watershed coordinator.
She is an avid paddler and has spent many days in canoes and kayaks on the Cuyahoga River.
