Join us for an exciting State Legislative Update from Jack Shaner, Government Liaison for the Ohio Environmental Council, who will discuss current water resource related environmental legislation scheduled for debate in the Ohio General Assembly.
Topics include: governmental actions to control harmful algae blooms in
Lake Erie, gas and oil drilling, and legislative attempts to roll back alternative energy in the
State.
About Jack Shaner
Jack Shaner is Deputy Director, Senior Director of Legislative & Public Affairs for the Ohio Environmental Council. Mr. Shaner brings more than 25 years experience in public advocacy and legislative service to Ohio’s environmental community. Jack is a graduate of The Ohio State University and the Environmental Leadership Institute.
