Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District and the Cleveland Metroparks are hosting a Rain Barrel Workshop the City of Lyndhurst and Friends of Euclid Creek on Saturday, May 30th from 9:30-11:00am at the Acacia Reservation (26899 Cedar Road, 44124).
A rain barrel is a container used to collect and store rainwater that would otherwise be lost to runoff and likely diverted to a storm drain. Collected water may then be used to water lawns and gardens. The cost is $60 (Friends of Euclid Creek members receive a $10 discount) and includes the barrel, all materials and the downspout diverter.
Registration is required by May 25th.
