Description: The Floodplain Management Workshop for Local Officials will address basic concepts of National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) mapping, regulations, insurance, and procedures. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage and ask questions. This workshop will be presented by ODNR’s Floodplain Management Program and hosted by Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District.
Class size: 100
Credits: This workshop will be eligible for 6 Continuing Education Credits (CEC) or 5.5 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Hours. Board of Building Standard (BBS) credits to be determined.
Registration: No Fee. This workshop is open to local officials throughout Ohio. No meals or refreshments will be provided. Attendees are responsible for any necessary travel arrangements. To ensure we are able to provide sufficient seating accommodations and course materials, attendees must register to attend this workshop. Please register for this course below.
