Beachwood City Park Buckthorn Removal

Beachwood City Park Buckthorn Removal

When: November 07 from 10:00am - 12:00pm
Where: Beachwood City Park - West, , map this

Volunteers will help cut back glossy buckthorn at Beachwood City Park.

This event will be limited to 18 volunteers and two staff members and will be conducted in 2 seperate areas to keep groups limited to 10.

We are tackling buckthorn for the first time on this property, so we have plenty to do. Must bring your own face covering and sun protection. Wear pants and long sleeves, boots or closed toe work shoes. Recommended to bring water and work gloves. Suggest bringing your own tools if you have them - lopping shears and pruning saws work great. Soil knives are handy for removing small buckthorn saplings. Further directions will be sent upon registration.

Adults only for this event.

Volunteers should park in the Beachwood Library parking lot, and then walk over to meet in the parking lot west bound Shaker Blvd. across from the library (24625 Shaker).
