Rain Barrel Workshop - Independence

When: June 09 from 6:00pm - 7:30pm
Where: Annex Pavilion (behind Annex Building), 6335 Selig Drive Independence, OH 44131 map this

Learn how to harvest rainwater for all your garden needs and to combat stormwater pollution in your community by constructing a rain barrel!

A rain barrel is a container used to collect and store rainwater that would otherwise be lost to runoff and likely diverted to a storm drain. Collected water may then be used to water lawns and gardens. Each participant will have the opportunity construct a rain barrel to take home.

Rain Barrel: $60
For an additional rain barrel to make a two barrel system: $20

FREE if you just want to come to the workshop to listen to the information and not purchase a barrel.

Registration is required by June 3, 2016
