Greenwood Farm Rain Garden Maintenance

Join us for some regular rain garden maintenance!

Volunteers are needed to do a bit of weeding of both basins on site.
All tools and materials will be provided, and no prior knowledge of native plants is required to participate.
Please come prepared with long pants, close-toed shoes, water, and anything else to make sure you are comfortable.
We will also provide sun protection, bug spray, hand sanitizer, and a first-aid kit.

By registering for this event, you are agreeing to our volunteer waiver and photo release.

Greenwood Farm is equipped with benches, picnic tables, and port-a-johns. There is no potable running water on site.
There is free vehicle parking on site. RTA bus route 94 has a stop directly at the entrance of the park at the Richmond Road and Merit Drive stop.

Please let us know if you plan to bring children with you.
This event requires participants to bend, stretch, reach, and lift for periods of time.

Cuyahoga SWCD staff will do their best to make programs accessible to anyone who would like to participate. Reasonable accommodation will be made when possible. Please make a request at the time of registration but no later than 72 hours prior to the program.
