SUMMARY:Rain Barrel Workshop | University Heights
DESCRIPTION:Collect rainwater for outdoor use and help reduce stormwater pollution in your community by building your own rain barrel. \nA rain barrel captures and stores rainwater that would otherwise flow untreated into storm drains. If you’d like to create a two‑barrel setup\, an additional barrel and linking kit are available for $40. \nIf you want to purchase a rain barrel(s) pre‑payment and workshop registration are required. Please register by April 22! \n\nA detailed registration confirmation along with rain barrel assembly instructional video will be sent to you as the workshop date approaches.  \nBarrel dimensions are 2 feet wide by 3 feet tall.\nThis system must be installed on a downspout. You will also need a way to elevate the barrel (concrete blocks work well)\, but these materials are not included in the price and will not be provided during the workshop.
