What is Camp Canopy?
Camp Canopy is a week-long resident camp for high school students held each year in June at Camp Muskingum in Carroll County. The camp is about a 1.5 hour drive south of Cuyahoga County.
Camp Canopy is centered around teaching students about forest ecology including silviculture practices, tree identification, and forestry products. While it is primarily an academic program, Camp Canopy offers excellent facilities for swimming, softball, and other fun recreational activities. It is a unique experience that will expose students to the great outdoors and to possible careers in forestry, conservation and natural resource protection.
