Teachers on the Estuary

If you are looking for a deep dive into local aquatic ecology, this is the training for you!
Engage in hands-on monitoring and learn how to integrate this data into your practice. Old Woman Creek National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) hosts this one-of-a-kind immersive overnight experience. Room and board are included.
Participants are eligible for a $200 stipend and 1 free credit hour of graduate credit from Ashland University, after attending all three days of the workshop.
Registration is required no later than Friday, June 26th to ensure we can prepare all the materials needed for you.
***We have consistently had a higher number of women than men interested in this training. To accommodate that we are offering a women’s dorm or an all-gender dorm. If you have questions about sleeping arrangements reach out to [email protected]
TOTE is presented in collaboration with Old Woman Creek National Estuarine Research Reserve and partially funded by a NOAA B-WET grant.
