Educator Weekend at the Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center

Join us for an engaging weekend at Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center (CVEEC)!  

 

This immersive experience will bring together professional learning, networking and opportunities to experience nature.   

 

Learn how you can incorporate Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences into your setting.  

 

Network with other likeminded educators. Enjoy a sunset hike and a campfire. 

 

Participants who attend the whole program are eligible for a $200 stipend and 1 free hour of graduate credit from Ashland University.

 

Participants will stay overnight in CVEEC dorms. Meals will be provided.  

 

Please register no later than Friday, September 5th to ensure we can plan for your meals.

Event FAQs
Parking and Transportation

Free parking is available on site. There are no public transportation options to CVEEC. You may be able to car pool with Cuyahoga SWCD staff, if necessary. Please reach out to Tim at [email protected] if you are interested in discussing carpooling.  

Accessibility

This program will involve physical activity including walking on natural surface trails and wading in a stream for macroinvertebrate sampling. There are accessible bathrooms and sleeping arrangements in the dorms. If you have questions about mobility during this program reach out to Tim, [email protected].
