The Mayfield Sand Ridge Stream Restoration Project was identified in 2014 as a solution to extensive flooding and erosion on the Mayfield Golf Course property in Lyndhurst, Ohio. This six-phase project was designed to address these issues and improve stream/floodplain habitat by restoring and stabilizing 4,286 linear feet of the West Branch Euclid Creek and 383 linear feet of tributaries. This will be done through grading, creating a floodplain bench, and restoration of riffle and pool features.
